As title I have fitted new hoses to my blade so while at it drained all the antifreeze ready to fill up with water ready for racing .I noticed there is still antifreeze in the expansion bottle how do I drain this as its a fecker to get to . One idea I thought was suck it out with a Hoover and adapt a hose on the end (numatic wet and dry ( or just keep pouring water in until it's diluted enough so it's just water. Also what type of water should I use as distilled and de ionised water are different . Cheers
I just siphoned mine out quick suck don't drink and into container distilled or de ionised won't cause any damage I think I picked up distilled this time but have used both
You got me thinking now Jase but been told distilled is better and found this which sort of says distilled is better I think anyway
i work in a lab, and you wouldn't believe how much crap ( minerals ) gets collected around the element of our stil, usually have to give it a good cleaning onece a month.
on my 2007 blade I just blow into the top of the bottle, finger over the overflow pipe and the fluid squirts back into the rad.
