An O2 eliminator is basically and connection plug with a built in resistor. You unplug your Lambda sensor (O2 Sensor) and connect the eliminator. This is to fool the ECU that the Lambda sensor is still fitted and hence will not put the engine management light on

Right, so its a separate item to the actual PC ! I don't have one in the pack in that case.. I'll have to give Andy a call in the morning.
I take it i do need one !? Is it best to completely remove the lambda sensor and plug the hole in the zorst ?

Your PCV wont work properly without an O2 eliminator.

I just unplugged the connector on my O2 sensor cable and taped it out of the way. You can remove the sensor itself from the exhaust if you have the correct bt to plug the hole.

If you bought the PCV in the UK for a UK bike, you should have got an eliminator with it I think.

Pretty sure mine is the bit that looks like a blanking plug. Looks something like this but is all white.

Yes you will need it as it makes the ECU see's the same constant value so it doesn't self adjust to the AFR the lamda sees.
Here's the plug you should have in the box. image.jpg
It plugs in on the left, inside of the frame above where the gear shift rod is.

On my RR7 it is behind the right hand fairing on a strip with a couple of other plugs, one of which is the rear brake light I believe.

You need one. The 08 > blade uses closed loop lambda up to 4k rpm ... So without it you can't control the fueling properly under 4k rpm ...

    Ask me how I know ... ;)

Mine does need one and I've been onto Andy at Demon Tweeks and he was suppose to get it sorted and call me back but he is always a bit slow at the "getting back" bit... Next problem is i use a mac book and Dynojet only seems to work with a PC, so making another hassle getting a map on it before i get to the dyno for setting up ! Anyone know a way of doing it with a mac ?
Also, anyone seen anywhere doing blanking bolts to fill where the lambda was ?

Wouldn't worry about blanking the Lambda sensor just tape up the connector and cable tie out the way, can't be seen. As for maps I also had this problem just borrowed my mates Pc takes 10 mins tops!

I figure that while I'm there i might swell totally remove it and it can't hurt for a bit better exhaust flow !
Can i map the unit before its all installed on the bike ?

Must admit I fitted mine with Yoshimura and PC back in 2005 and never fitted the eliminator. Ran on the dyno with great results and still running sweet as a nut now. Ignorance is bliss possibly! Lol
