Noooooooo!!!!! Not fairy liquid, it has salts in it that don't do your visor any good. My Shark lid came with some coating that is good, but pinlock gets my vote.
Foggy mask I think to restrictive moves about or end up sucking it in when racing . Fairy liquid is sworn by i the race paddock . Pin lock has my vote though after trying in my helmets
problem with pin locks I find is that the seam of it can be in your line of vision which is a bit off putting. fairy liquid does the job,as does (cant remember his name, uncle bob?) visor demister works well aswell.
PinLock is great, but the best is FogTech: Fogtech Anti-Fog solution 5-pack wipe applicators: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors
Won't bother with the foggy now saves me £15. My pin lock didn't always work mSyb it's not seated right
Totally agree Scott, I put a Pinlock in a brand new visor at the beginning of last and it steamed up round the edges! Ended up using both Pinlock and Fairy! Also agree with Scooby, it does restrict your peripheral vision slightly.
If it's steaming round the edge then it's not adjusted right chaps ... The two mounts are elongated and turn to tighten pinlock against visor creating an air tight seal...
Think I didn't explain properly....... it was the part of the visor outside of the Pinlock that steamed up. Although I could see clearly through the Pinlock, extreme peripheral was clouded and restricted total vision.
Also any kind of "mask" has me gasping for breath as it restricts oxygen slightly and defeating the object!
