I have a 2012 1000RR ABS I am having a right old ball ache fitting my new Harris bars because they foul just about every way they can. The bars in question. http://www.harris-performance.com/acatalog/Harris-Clip-on-handlebars.html I am using the standard clock bracket without lock stops so maybe I need to fit one of these. http://www.sesraceproducts.com/fairing-bracket---honda-cbr600-rr--cbr1000-rr-21-p.asp So my question is can anyone advise what they are using and are you having to fit the race clock bracket with lock stops. Cheers.
The 08 onwards blades need raised aftermarket clipons as the oem are raised for the reasons you've mentioned
He is correct u need the riser. I have both Harris riser and Ses bracket. Both work well. But u can't do it without a riser bars
That's naughty bad they should no. They did that too my mate as well. I find I like the riser anyway as for clearance of panel underneath the bar
Update: I ordered a SES clock bracket yesterday and received it today. I also spoke to Harris who said to ring them back if I could not get the bars to work with the new clock bracket, they said not to worry and would sort me out so I can't complain. I am at Oulton and Croft next week so will have to just put up with it. The bike is really cramped for me at 6ft 4" and nearly 16 stone.
Just to update this thread. I bought a set of Harris bars and SES clock bracket which made things better. The bars are still too low so I have sent the clamps back and am waiting on a set of risers, next will be different rear sets. If that doesn't work then its back to an R1.
