Thanks for the offer mate but due to the inconsistent mileages from the part I would prefer new.
    Cheers

I know it's a 2015 post but even if they've gone up a bit the oem ones Andy mentions from Ireland must still be cheaper than £100 :)

I used that company for my last 2 but don’t think they are doing bike parts anymore? I have seen one on eBay but not sure I can trust it’s genuine?

I also got a manual one for mine, it did need a tweak after the first 4k miles, but done 8k since without a tweak.

As it happens I do have one of the new modified ones, opened, but not fitted - I was going to fit it if I needed to tweak it again, but happy with the manual one now.

I'm late to the party on this. I use Nut Job quite a lot for parts.

They presently have a 15% discount, but that will still be dearer than the 'revised' option as posted by @Demmel .

Many VTR Firestorm owners have switched to manual tensioners, but I had not heard of any necessity to do so with the Blades. Obviously those members above who have switched are happy with the conversion. There has been discussion though, that the aftermarket manuals do not allow the 'flexibility' of auto-adjustment during temperature changes between cold to hot motors. This might be insignificant in a street bike, but for me, as a comment only, I would prefer to stay with the Honda genuine part.

Fairly sure its genuine - the seller seems to specialise in genuine Honda parts. It sorted my Blade out and has worked fine since. A mate of mine also bought one around the same time - no issues.
