Boo, can you attach the picture of your RAM mount?
There are several versions, and it would be helpful to know which one you're trying to fit.
I have the same year '09 model and had a similar problem last year... but finally I found this: The Telferizer Custom Motorcycle RAM mounts for GPS Systems
It is brilliant, simple, easy to fit, highly recommended ;)

I use this RAM Mount for the fork stem for my Zumo 660

The inner diameter of the SC59 fork stem is 24 mm (0.944 inch). That's why I had to use the top piece of rubber (1:05 in the video). The top piece has a diameter of 28 mm and has to be conical in shape so that it fits in the fork stem.

Use a power drill and a file to form it. Works quite well.

What can I say about Bob at Telferizer. Sent off a email enquiry and within 10 mins he's called me, explained what he does, and what he can do for go pro mounts and sending over some pics for me to look at

    Top suggestion and service
