After watching some vids online, I think I’m going to undertake this myself.
My question is, can I knock out the old races using a flathead screwdriver? Or is there a special way to do it?

    cheers

If you have good access from above and below then any drift will do that doesn't damage the surface of where they mount. I use a solid round metal bar, but a big ass screwdriver should do.

Get yourself a driver or puller kit, having spent years removing bearings using all kinds of screwdrivers etc, it’s just easy with the right tool as always

All done, main issue was the rounded of bolts on the ignition barrel, @Kentblade i think I will invest in a kit as I’ll be doing the Ducati next and another project after that. I used the back of an old torque wrench(hex end) and that did the trick. Black triples look miles better aswell. Black looks so much better agreed. Next you’ll want the black clock surround from an 11 Repsol
