There's a few of us not far off but it's an ABS one so personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole mate

The short answer is 'Yes'. Read the link and do as much research as you can. It's also worth having a look at the bleed procedure - seem to remember dealer labour time is 5 hours for that?!

A number of owners have removed their ABS on here due to issues - not a quick job. I traded mine in for a non ABS instead :)

Yep....I've personal experience which I've documented on here.

The way I look at it is, if they put on the sale information....

Lovely bike but brakes may fail randomly/or not... and cost a fortune to bleed..

    would you buy it?

    Russian roulette imho

5 hours if you're lucky
They once had mine for a week trying to get it sorted.
Once read on a US biker site that there were several components in the abs system that could fault....so even a bleed might not sort

I have read the posts and its enough to put me off an abs. Just not worth the risk plus now even if i did not get an issue there would always be an element of doubt at the back of my mind niggling away the enjoyment of riding.

They have a lot of tatty stock so I wouldn't buy from them without personally inspecting first.

I’m local to macc way, I’m always bobbing in sbf for a nosey, the thing is with them is they get many bad reviews but there’s plenty of good too.
Personally I’d never buy from them as all they’re doing is buying bikes in cheap from trade in’s or ringing people up from private ads and offering them grands less and then they throw them in the row and put a grand or two on them, with it being such a big place they don’t half get through some bikes, I’ve seen minters there and I’ve seen plenty of munters there too.
Like I say I wouldn’t buy from them as they don’t even let you sit on or start the bike at the moment, I was looking at a nice clean r1 they had in, couldn’t sit on it or start it up so left it and luckily bought my minter fireblade instead for a bargain price private!
Think it’s a shame as if they properly inspected some of the bikes they sell and got them detailed they’d have a better rep but honestly you should see some of the bikes sat in the rows, some having new tyres fitted and they’ve not even bothered to wipe half the tyre soap off them, dirty old greased up chains etc.
They must be doing ok though as there’s always a shed load of bikes in the reception area waiting to go that been sold so fair do’s but make sure you at least look at the bike rather than online would be my advice at the very minimum, they’ve had one fireblade in white there a good while now too!
