Here you go, low mileage (7.5k) 2009 original condition even down to the number plate hanger!

Just don't get too hung up on the seller haha:D
Screenshot_20210103-104835_eBay.jpg I bought my low mileage 2009 from here and it was a minter. The fact this one is in original condition and low miles bodes well ;)

My 09 ABS did over 70k, the only failures were starter motor and Stator oh and ABS:eek:.
In that time it only had very minor maintenance.
The exhaust does rust, so if you can get a 10+ as it has a shield to hid it!
The rest was general wear and tear.

Good spot @PauloHRC - also @lukebolger you may wish to consider this one from a forum member so history is known

EDIT - oops the link didn’t attach first time. This is it https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/2010-cbr1000rr.40522/

Thanks guys - that 09 from superbikefactory looks nice, although black is not my favourite colour scheme (prefer white or red) - apparently superbikefactory won't let you test ride, and they don't even start the bike up for you until you've paid for it!

Oh I see, you mean the linked bike on SBF was owned by a forum member here?

Remember people only ever go on the internet to moan how bad their experience is with this, that or the other.
Good solid advice on here from very knowledgeable blade owners.
Good luck with the search ;)

Superbike factory have now got very odd 'viewing a bike practices' you'd need to go to experience it yourself. They will however start a bike up for you, they just won't let it run very long due to exhaust fumes, well that's their excuse but you can kind of see the logic. Test rides im not so sure. Myself personally I'm not overly fussed about them. I've had 10 bikes in the last 20 years and I knew almost the second I saw each of them whether I wanted them or not. Sometimes its just down to gut feeling......unless you're buying brand new then its just like, ah fuck it im buying it!!!:D

My mate bought an 09 fireblade from sbf with only 5k on it, lovely looking clean bike and reading through his paperwork he got with it, its had the Honda check for the crank issue and they gave the previous owner a note saying it had been checked.

That's good then.......a simple call to any honda dealer would also clarify this. It would be stored on the database along with any main dealer service history so also worth a phone call if you have any doubts ! ;)

LOL made me think, that not much has rattled loose or fallen off, so therefore it's pretty good.. ;)

I think of bikes a little bit like I did about booze when I was younger (hardly drink at all these days btw)... You say you won't have another after waking up from a bad (or good I guess) night before, but after a little while you realise that you do actually like a Honda for so many reasons that you'll soon have another one.. Think of Honda as your generally reliable lager or bitter - you might occasionally get a bad one but most of the time it's a safe bet.. If you're after something a little more exotic then perhaps a Ducati that I would equate to a fancy cocktail (LOL perhaps from Elmo Putney's Wine Bar for those of a certain age). :D

Mines a 2007 as prefer the older bikes and apart from a fork seal letting go it's been a great bike. Very reliable.
