In answer re finish and corrosion. ive not had any issues with either. I ran the Maxton on a different bike, I have a ttx on my current 13 rr.
Both maxton and ohlins will make a big difference. I have used both and would use both again. Currently running an ohlins on my 13 year bike....
Can you fit the RCS on the 2012-2013 bikes with standard reservoir ?? I have a ladybird bracket thingy ( forgot the proper name ) Cheers

No it was the ones that hold the handle bar clamp to the fork keg . I got them out using s torx 40 but I think they are 42 which are a nightmare...
The ones that sit on the fork leg where the calipers sits on it . The silver Ali ones .

Cold or wet sp 's aren't good IMO Lack feel when colder. I prefer rosso corsa for road as I get as much grip as I need on road and they are good...
