Agreed. Sag needs setting but I reckon at 73kg the springs are too stiff. IIRC they are 1.1kg/mm which is about spot on for my weight at 90kg.

As mentioned don't use the QS for 1st - 2nd gear ... iirc only the translogic and HM SS can do this due to the ability to modify kill time for...

Pop timing cover off and rotate to TDC. Install new CCT and then pull locking pin ... as a safety check I then rotated crank a couple times by...
I agree ... it sounds as though it has improved but not enough ... when I took the old CCT out I couldn't remove the centre bolt so was expecting...
No didn't replace chain. If it was a valve it would get noisier on revving?
It was ... hardest bit was getting fuel connector back on! TBF I had a full tank of fuel in it! Still didn't fix the issue properly :(
