They are not original, but were offered by Honda in the extras list at the time. Used to protect from scratches, but can also be used to hide them!

08 to 16 seats are interchangeable.
Pre 14 headers have a different diameter to connect to the silencer, so no they will not be suitable.

I would not even look at them, just get out there and ride it! It's been said already, inspect at 16k, change at 32k, even then you won't see...
