Not true I'm afraid. The problem is fuelling related, and whilst a new exhaust may change the fuelling characteristics, it does not fix any...
I will admit to already having fitted rearsets to my R1, just to make it evan comfier :)
The BMW problems are getting a bit like Ducati, where owners insist that only older models were affected, but everyone else knows it's not true :)
lol, I just swapped back from Honda (after many years) to Yamaha as the blades are just too cramped for me these days. P.S. IMHO all these bikes...

The last 3 digits on DJ's PCV Euro maps is supposed to start with a 5, although "BladeRR8" on here found that they had labelled one of them...

Strange, my stock 08 had the smoothest on/off throttle fuelling I've every encountered, which was somehow improved further with a PCV, generic map...
I haven't checked the content, but the title is a contradiction - RR2 is 954cc and a very different bike to the 929 model.
Speak to Swiss T. Here's his thread explaining how to disable ABS by removing a fuse. I think he then went further and removed the whole thing....
Fellow 14B owner! May I recommend an ECU flash. This lets you apply a new throttle map, which further increases brutality, whilst reducing jerky...

Ah el-nicko, you beat me to it. IDGAF about his driving record, but I do find him to be a pain in the neck and would like to see much less of him.
As Martin suggests, the last time this happened to me it was because I had forgotten to tighten the battery terminal.

AFAIK, stock is 1/4 turn, HRC is 1/6th turn.
I don't like it TBH.
