Is the basic HM shifter good enough and easy to set up? I'm not fussed about the quick downshifting so don't need the top model.
Been thinking of a HM unit myself although probably just the Lite. Is it worth having on a road bike?
£150 for the + now, no brainer really. So long as it fits of course.
If it fits go for it. I was going to buy the NXR until I tried the HJC on and it fit just that bit better. Only had it a month but no complaints...

I did the same as you but for a Yoshi can. Spoke to Brian at performance parts and was quoted £90 for the carbon end and about £15 for the rivets...
As Si said, end caps and rivet bands can be bought to replace the damaged one. May as well repack it while you're at it.

I don't torque for such low values, just use a regular wrench and use your feel to tighten it. The lower the torque, the less leverage you need so...
The new RPHA 11 looks nice - quite different from the 10Plus with a new shape around the base and an emergency cheek release mech like the NXR.
