General update - no need for the optimate! Without the alarm and tracker thing the battery is back to normal.
Rode it this evening...happy days are here again!
Haha- yep. All gone.
Only catch - I had to have it picked up from my house and also had it dropped back. So that was another £70. But I'm happy. Back on the bike...
An hour and halfs work. Really pleased!
Got it back today. £75. The guy said the loom was a complete mess. Also that box was a tracker.
Thanks Dave. Yeah I agree. I'm just too short on time as well. Don't really want to be on the tube any longer than I have to be.
Quick update - bike is being picked up tomorrow by a local garage. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
Yep. Everything works. Just doesn't crank over.
Yep have a meter. I think I've given up now. Back to work tomorrow so now have to jump on the tube. Gonna make some calls tomorrow... Keep you...
Damn it. That one didn't work.

On it!
Cheers. Are the blanking plugs specific to honda? I've seen something similar on a triumph forum.
(Im no expert) - how can I check if they have run the solenoid circuit through the alarm?
I think it's a red. It was plugged into this connector that looks like it's attached to the main loom.[ATTACH] This is the current situation.......
In neutral! - good point. I'll check! Kill switch - yep checked that. Flicking it on and off is doing something - 'priming/making right sounds'....
Hmmm. Interesting. The ignition turns on, sounds like it's 'priming' with all the right sounds. But doesn't crank. I need to double check I...
Dunno what it is. Didn't seem to be an oem part because it was wrapped in gaffa.
