The problem with alarms and trackers are that they flatten the battery, the ABS models in particular have a small battery, once the bikes battery...
pretty sure it is just unplugging, bike in neutral? kill switch on run? it may be that someone has run the solenoid circuit through the alarm but...
Is the other thing a tracker? Because of the hiss system you should be able to just disconnect everything without causing a problem
