As above easy enough job to fit the relay just need to drop the nose and pull the old relay out and fit the new 1. I'm sure I still have the box...

You could try a small wedge to try and gently pry them open again, but as above you could well be looking at new forks if there are any cracks now...

Standard filter is fine. With an aftermarket filter the only real benefit is that it is reusable. Ie you can wash it during a service.
Have you tried 'A16 road and race fairing' Fit well and are well priced.
