Well as Jimbo said.....shaft gets a wee bit more abuse on track...... so I probably would agree.... unless your using aftermarket rearsets......

Ladybird bracket ??
did you use the Brembo cylinder ??....... I found the bracket a bit of a pisser..... had to bend it a little to miss clock bracket....
