Not sure which Bike you have, but the stator is a known weak point on the 04-07's. Some were lucky enough to get a revised one from Honda FOC, but...
From memory, the front of the brackets fit on the rearward bolts of the pillion pegs, and the steel washers go between the frame and the front...
Ah, but who fits it? There does not seem to be any fitters in the UK, or have I missed something?

I have the Honda higher screen which was on my 12HRC bike, and am just about to fit it to my new Black 14, which works much better than the MRA...
That's what I thought, but they are listed separately on the Abba website - as above, I used set No 45 on my 04.
Just checked, and yes I do have a set 45 in the garage. Alas whatever you have I don't need as I got a new set for my 12 bike.

I have the E Cushion, and would recommend it, good improvement over the standard one for longer trips. Available on here or eBay every now and...
I had one fitted to my 04, the quality was excellent, and it was very effective at directing the air higher. I can only think you got a rogue one....
The Honda one works for me, keep your eye on eBay or on here, they come up for around the £100-110 mark, and the 08 onwards fit 08-014.
That's cos they are very good, and there does not seem to be much of a choice these days. A few years ago Belstaff used to do similar stuff, but...

It sounds like either you are not testing things properly or misreading the results. You should get more that 12-14 Vac from the stator, not sure...
Top Tip! Get out and ride it more, I sold my 04 in 12 after it done 65k. ;-)
