Read in PB once that tyres actually wear out quicker in the rain ! They are scrabbling for grip and actually spin up slightly hence wear out quicker !
I'm running 32f and 36 r , not checked after a wet ride, but spirited dry road pressures go up to 36 f 40-42 r with the heat.

jimbo's right almost full throttle no wheel spin and endo's are possible in wet, the front is better than the rear for grip :-)
