Before you remove the air scoop there will probably be a lot of to'ing & frow'ing, & you will turn the air blue.
The air scoop is a seperate piece to the airbox and if memory serves correct, there are four screws holding it in place. Two screws are above...
If I remember correctly I just had enough slack on the cables to manoeuvre the airbox around them.
You have to unscrew the top half of the airbox first, then remove filters & then you should be able to unscrew the bottom half of the airbox....
