You can place the clamp around further if you want, just as long as it clears everything and you can still get to it once everything is back in...
This is an exhaust clamp.... notice how much wider it is to spread the load and also a proper bolt and nut system to get it nice and tight [ATTACH]
Both them clamps are wrong, the bottom one is for a spring mount that's not needed on your model and the other is just a standard jubilee clamp...
