You probably get more rubber on a 55 + weight shift to front and more aggressive turning. All adds up.
Personally I feel for road use the 55 has ruined my bike. It steers far to quickly unless you're riding balls out.
Numax is never going to be reliable. If you have an alarm any 5amp battery will suffer, unless used every day.
