Don't wear anything that sheds fibres cause they will stick to the adhesive side and are impossible to get off. A couple of drops of baby shampoo...
The link pipe doesn't do away with the 'S' pipe, it just come's with or without the cat fitted, this shows up as a bulge half way along the 'S'...
