Defo have to remove nut and replace with Gilles adapter there are not enough threads for it to be in safety otherwise :)
Yes but preload adjuster just bolts to frame and looks untidy lol I like it mounted to shock Does the SP have a remote preload adjuster ?
Hard to give advice without seeing it but surprised its all turning mine undid with no issues, I'd tighten it back up and take it to dealers...
