Obviously just the way he worded it ... I've gone back to standard preload on front ... 38mm feels too flighty to me... Having now compared them both.
Surely that affects trail and anti-squat on the bike raising that high!?
I've got Diamond rear sets ... :)
+1 Rear sets will move your legs back which will cant you forward in the seat preventing you from falling off the back. I had the same issue ......
Did Dave actually recommend stock position preload at the front?
Even a bit more preload wouldn't be a bad idea... aim for 35mm each end ... :) I'm actually a bit less in rear and bit more in the front to keep...

Amazing how much of a difference 2 turns of preload can make ...
M7RR are good enough for fast group on track ... Yet superb on road.
eBay :)
Didn't realize the forks fit straight in? Hmmmmm :D
See what you mean about cutting hugger ... I think mine already has a big enough slot actually.
Will shove the 2012> on the bike for now ... Then sell it on when another upgrade comes up for sale ...
It can stay as it is then ... Cheers :)
I have already changed hugger so no big deal :)
That's it... Anymore info chap please?
Correct ... It's called a twin tube / or balance free shock which is how it differs from the earlier model. Either way it cost me sod all :)
