Could the rear shock be cooked? Keep reading how the underslung exhaust cooks the shock but have never read any complaints on here about that?
You can get second hand ohlins for 350 from the uk no issue they come up on eBay all the time, then just get it resprung. Think its a professional...

Yes check the relay, headlight relay is the same so could swap them over. Listen for a click from the relay as you push the kill switch to run....
