If your boots are wearing the frame grab a boot protector kit from R&G only about £30 plus VAT....
108.4 miles average until the light comes on in the last 1080 miles and 10 fill ups on my 09. The economy on the 12-15 bikes seems amazing.
I'd not drill the fairings personally, I'd spend the extra and buy the Bike Design no cut ones for £142. £100 cheaper than R&G's version....
