Yeah, take a look in @RepsolSam thread selling the Leo Vince exhaust. There's pics in there of my footrest thingies being prepped and lacquered.
Would that be an issue if I flatted it back and put a heavy build of lacquer on it to make it shine?

Get you oil changed and see if it improves. My bike came with Putoline Dx4 and when I changed to Silkolene super it was much nicer and the engine...

That was the reason behind my Q. Surely the ecu will only fuel on the given value of the resistor in the eliminator so it will not fuel correctly?
Will you then need a PC or Bazil then though or will the bike still run fine with the eliminator?
You could always get a boss fitted. Only about a fiver on the bay and maybe £20-£30 at your local engineering shop to weld it on. Stainless pipe...
