No it not and that's why its 16+ hours work, its all part of the engine, hence having to split the bottom end off
Yam are quoting 16 hours (but that might be conservative?) engine out, clutch out, gen off, take bottom off, swap gears for new one already on...
mine comes close to touching the fairing on the left side too but there is a gap, not sure if that heat shield is to think also, the its meant to...
NO not if its touching the fairing as it will still melt it, there needs to be a gap so that the hot air can flow away while riding, I always thought?
