I love the quicker steering on the Blade. Didn't you drop your forks thru the yoke?
You also have a 44 tooth rear! It's not the bhp that makes the difference in acceleration, its the torque (and in your case the bigger rear sprocket).
Only issue on a Blade can be that the tyre may rub the hugger. Mine doesn't and as you are removing a 55 you should be ok.
