yep thats right,they dont have a frame as such,the engine is the load barer.not a cheap fix..... what group was he running in?
wont make any difference really,as long as the tyre is on the right way,just check that.

let them put the base set up in,then whenb you go on track,go see the suspension guys and talk to them after you've doen a session or 2 to get a...

will always happen when the bikes cold,should ease up when it's warmer,wouldn't worry about it,never known a bike not to do it tbh,esp.when cold....
if it was your first trackday then i'd say it's a pressure issue rather than a suspension issue,but as above,a picture will shed a lot more light...
