That is where the ones with inserts come into play. They keep the noise low enough so no damage is done But you can still hear the exhaust , horns etc
thats one thing I couldnt do, listen to music on the bike, too distracting.
I used the ones with changeable inserts so that you can let some noise in.only use them on long runs but with probably use them on the blade more...
