I would always use the pin lock insert and have done for years, used to use fog city inserts before pin locks. I even use them on my dark tint...

Used a 7x5 for years with no problems and been stopped by police and not mentioned it, new rear set up will be an 8x6

You only need to undo a couple of bolts to do that, Honda must be really tight on using grease
Some of the led's have gone, it's a sealed unit so a replacement is the answer unless you want to try and pry open and try to repair
Yep motobatt are very good and can throughly recommend, although I'm running a very nice shorai lithium now which is even nicer but more expensive
