you can set them to only come in at a certain rev limit,mine are usually around 6/7k,plus never use it from 1st-2nd,bit too harsh on the g/box.
not sure tbh,but i think the bigger issue is the offset of the discs,and if the 04/5-06/7 discs fit the 08-wheels. i do know that 08 wheels fit...
