well after 18months of sitting in the garage at work i decided it was time to ressurect the old boy.i do love these bikes it's just my road riding...

i've used GPRv4 rotary dampers for yrs and never had any issues,can clutter up the headstock a bit thats the only problem,but still find them...
try ghost bikes,they do "ok" stands at a good price. harris are very good but not cheap,the red ones on ebay are ok,but you do get what you pay for.

not 100% sure but i know on a lot of earlier thou's (04+) including gixxers+zx10r's the timing was retarded in lower gears to basically stop you...
chains will always have tight spots though,but for me it's 1 of those things not to skimp on as if they go it can hurt!!!(money and physical)

no reason not to buy the hollow rivet and then use your existing tool,it "should" peen the link over ok.failing that a few taps with a well aimed...
not sure if putting a relay in will effect the fronts unless they are on a seperate circuit?.i just used resistors in line with the LED indies as...
it's not the amount of tread thats left on them that will be the issue,it's more the heat cycles they go through.but it does depend on how hard...
