Safest thing IMO is to move the bike and fill the garage full of junk for a while. When you put the bike back in is there any chance of blocking...
Echo, use warmers. I use SC2's from new with warmers, but don't worry about cycles as it's only one per track day.

Just drill ém as they'll hide the holes anyway and protect the bike better (if you've had to use them like many of us then you'll know why). FYI...
