You should warm up all tyres before hammering them, that's not the question here, and shouldn't be confused with scrubbing in New rubber
Cold tyres will do that, always warm them up, but they don't need scrubbing in over 100 miles like they used too :) Things do chance you know...

warm them up and you're good to go on modern tyres, they don't use release agent these days, just compressed air to get them out of the moulds on...
