totally agree with you mate as i'm a big believer in you get what you pay for, and 300 quid for a carbon lid seems either suspiciously low or arai...
i always keep the clear visor with me for this reason (and incase i get stopped)... if the lights dropping i'll pull over and put the clear on to...
personally mate i'd go with a clear pinlock and tinted visor, that way you can swap the pinlock to a clear visor when you need maximum visibility...
