You're likely running fairly lean especially at high rpm. The bikes fuelling is programmed based on the stock exhaust.
Are you using a fueling module? PC5 etc?
I never liked the previous styling but in recent years they have grown on me. Seem to be a very marmite bike but you dont often hear bad reports...
