your right Kirkwall.. although I change the Oil / Filer every year (2000 miles average) had never bothered to do the air filter.. didn't think it...
a couple of photo's of the HID ballast tucked away as mentioned above (I did both headlights, so Ballast hidden both sides).. and the PAIR removed...

I have that same issue.. when the bike is just started, and I go to pull away, it wants to snap the gearbox in half going into first :(
I serviced the RR6 last week and went for BMC air.. 9k miles and the originals were frankly manky! Oil and filter standard.. [ATTACH]

Yip.. same for me, around a 20 min job and saves looking for 7th :D (the 2006 diagnostic plug is behind the left front fairing)
not sure you video'd that correctly.. come round to my Garage and do it again just to make sure it was done right the first time :D
