Apparently warning motorists of a hazard, after all that is why speed cameras etc are located where they are, is not a public service ;)
I use a cheapy dash cam in the car. Quality isn't fantastic but good enough. You really do need to have them connected to a power supply though.
Plod are doing people if they see them warning people about speed traps. Believe it or not they do you for perverting the course of justice.
Never heard trickle chargers causing a problem with batteries, after all that is their entire raison d'etre. I have mine almost permanently...
