After some help please, we've got an 04 trackbike 1000rr. After 3 laps or so the HESD warning comes on the dash and there is no resistance any body had anything to do with them ? do I swap for another or is there an obvious electrical fault if we turn off ignition it resets but 3 laps its up again !!??
ok after some research its speed dependant ! and thinking about it the speedo is now not working !! so I need to change my question how do I get speedo working ? where is the pick up on the 04 ?
Hello, just wondering did you get this issue resolved, i too have an 04 rr and i am getting oil pressure , HESD and FI warmnings on the dash at a certain speed and temp , speedo also failed , bought new speed sensor, no change, had it in a shop , problems could not be replicated on the dash on a dyno , was US clocks on Euro bike, bought UK clocks, problems still persist. Bike runs fine but at high speed proplems pop up. Problems dissapear when i am stopped , put stand down and lean bike..leaning bike being the main point.
