I've only had my 05 a few weeks but I'm concerned about the startup. I only ride short distances (around 10 miles) and have not had a chance to give it a good run yet. I have it connected to an Optimate 2. My concern is that though it has not failed to start, it often takes a couple of pushes of the starter before it catches. I'm figuring that if there were anything seriously wrong, like fouled plugs or fuelling it would be evident when riding (which is isn't) Given that it's got a nasty alarm and is probably on it's first battery, is it worth just replacing the battery? My 23 year old VFR750 starts on the button, so I reckon the blade should too. Any battery recommendations?
