I recently registered under FATMAVIS last week but I cannot now access my account so I've re-done under this one. Picking up my 06 blade on Friday this week, hoping the sun will be out too. Looking forward to riding it all weekend. Im primarily interested in road riding with the odd trackday or two in a year. Will be looking at upgrading the forks and maybe the shock in the future so will look the forums for advice.
Hi Duncan and welcome to the forum. I have had my 06 for nearly three years now and love it. I have done a few mods, Ok, well a lot, but sorting the suspension out has been one of the best ones. Not that it was bad at stock but just makes the power a bit more usable and enables a bit more of it to be used safely IMO. Plenty of people on here with good knowledge, unfortunately I am not one of them.

Sorry to tell you but GaryB was correct. You're is "you are" as in you're going to kick yourself, whilst "your" is indicative of possession, as in your correction was incorrect
Just picked up my blade, quick ride home after a night shift. Very quick motor!! Bit too tired to give it too much! Bit of pulsing in the front brake at heavier braking, looks like it could do with the brake pistons cleaning. Don't think it's warped discs. Also seen the YouTube vid on here about cleaning the rotor bobbins so I'll give that a go. I'll get some pics up later.
Glad you like the bike . Check the floats on the disc as they can cause that, bonus is that they are easy to fix with a bit of time and elbow grease. There is a thread on here somewhere with a link to a youtube vid on how to check and clean them.
