So guys and gals the Forum has grown hugely over the past year

What do you want to see from the forum during 2012?

Just remember, No one makes any money from the place and Rob still pays the hosting fees. Only through donations which many have greatly passed onto him via the main bar on the forum has anything helped towards running the forum.

And still most of the funds he's got have been/will be passed back to members via Dan's other thread http://1000rr.co.uk/forum-suggestions-feedback/2933.htm

and yes I will change my Gif soon :)
So what do you want from the forum in 2012?

    We've got a main bar?

If you're looking for a home for that gif send it my way. My broadband's so slow I usually despair of your multi post pages and the bloody great (relatively) HD movies that come with them, but this one makes me LMAO every time.

I was just being humerous Remal, I think the forum has a bit of everything for everybody and will evolve naturally as it grows even bigger.
As it stands just now we have a great mix of people from all around the country with more joining everyday it can only be a good thing

    And I thank you.

I'm struggling off the top of my head to think of a way it could be better.

    I don't suppose you'd arbitrarily ban Givover, I suppose?........................No?......just a thought.

Good on you for highlighting the donation aspect Matt. It's easy to forget that Rob's shouldering the cost of this monster and I've paid dues to a lot of clubs I've enjoyed a lot less.

Soz mate I was being light hearted also. Was suggested if we can not try and put off the females on here and make the forum able to been read at work. why I posted that

I know a few forums where the vintage totty thread would be locked. [IMG]

and got to agree with the mix of people from all over. [IMG]

Let's do the dogtag thing, not electronic/USB, including a donation to Rob's costs. More stickers, more apparel,?, more pretty ladies, FFS don't go politically correct? A great Forum, getting better. a National or Southern meet would suit me and I don't mind organising summat near me. Another trackday or three for good money, in summer and Autumn. Some top speed runs with NSA or Straightliners( July 15th , North weald M11). Phew !!!

Thanks for the heads up regarding the cost burden on Rob, can you give some guidelines as to what an appropriate donation would be and how often?

As for as 2012, I would like the bank base rate to remain low, a little inflation is ok as long as its stays under control. We must have a cap on benefit payments and theres a pot hole just outside B&Q that is long overdue for a filling?

I'd like to see regional boards please, a moderator for each one to help keep on top of the posts.
It would be easier to follow what was going on in our local area?
    Just a thought :)

I have seen this on some car forums and to be honest i feel it splits the board into cliques and folk tend to only post on their regional boards, i think the forum is fine the way it is formatted just now

How about a digital tyre gauge with the forum name on it even just on the pouch. Or a small LED torch that fits on a keyring again with forum name?

How about getting Honda to do us a ltd edition FireBlade.

We could get them to put 1000rr on the side of it.

I'm with you on what your saying there.
Leave all the normal posts to the main forum pages.
I just thought it would make it easier to navigate such as ride outs and events pertaining to the area you live.
You would not be doing yourself any favours posting threads other than events and ride outs if you want a wide audience just by posting in a board where there may only be a dozen people who would follow them?
On the other side of the coin me posting a ride out to the lake district on a Sunday morning would only interest people who live in my area? Mind some of the guys and girls on here love a good ride out :)
