Personally, I think the forum is pretty damn good as it is. Grown up members, sensible moderators & admin, site merchandise etc. For 2012 we could focus more on the social aspect. Regional ride outs, meet ups at BSB rounds, and maybe a Summer BBQ or something similar? Members maketh the forum and socialising increases your circle of friends. Could do a bit of PR & see if we can get featured in a ma. Seeing as it's the 20th anniversary year, it shouldn't be too hard?
Actually, do we have any software developers on here? A 1000rr App for iPhone/Blackberry/Android would probably go down a storm - I'd pay for it. May also be an additional source of income for the site & you could license it for use by the US site?

Wow, thanks for the donations that have been made. There was never an intention in this thread to ask for donations but thank you for what has been sent!! The forum will ways remain free but donations really do help. I will probably need to look at alternative servers soon as the site grows so will be a great way of funding toward them. Thank you. I'd love to get featured in mags etc to improve member count. Also what do people think regarding traders and adding more? Do we need any more? Will we benefit? I really do believe social commerce has a big future... Traders can connect directly to their customers.

My main reason was to get feedback from all members on how we are doing, and what you want to see in the future. Agree mags sound a good idea. Maybe the online suppliers we have can get our name out there? Anyone by any of them? I know Opie Oils already have us online, IE when I ordered it asks you which forum R U from and we are on there
I can't talk for Rob But it's gone from 3 members to what? 550Plus and 50 thousand posts (IE half what other forums I am on have had in 4 years) as for hosting again compared to the other 3 main forums I post on after this place. This one has not been down or slow at all. IE 100% then the rest
iv'e belonged to a few forums over the years ( too many hobbys the missus says ) and in my opion you guys have it right im new to biking and have been welcomed warmly on here and any questions asked ( sometimes stupid ) have been answered with humour and eagerness to help there seems to be no "CLICK " that i have found elsewhere and members wanting to put you down or start arguments so sorry for going on but ............................ i kinda like it here ps just noticed the donate button ... donation sent cheers

OK, sussed it!! Anyone that has donated in the past 6 months is now VIP status under their name. VIP status includes upgraded PM inbox (50 to 500), Albums can now store 500 pics (up from 50)..... Cheers again, Rob.
