Anybody any experience with the above. I haven't done any investigation yet. Bike is booked in for the 24k service this Saturday so was going to mention it then. Im driving along and the MIL light & HESD light come on at the same time. When they come on the bike is very sluggish in the low to mid RPM range but then picks up from mid to high. It backfires on deceleration. The speedometer does not work when this occurs. If I cycle the ignition the problem resets and disappears until the next time. Seems to occur pretty randomly. It can happen again within minutes or sometimes not at all again until the next spin. When they are not on the bike drives perfectly. Any ideas?
