Hope everyone had a good New Year.

My question is this - Would 2013 Monoblock callipers be a significant improvement over the 2009 standard ones? They will be fitted to a track bike where brake fade is a real possibility.

    All the best,
    Hoggy

wouldn't have thought so as they are the same spec. Unless the condition of the old ones had deteriorated, e.g. seal and corroded pistons causing excessive drag I don't think fade would be reduced.
You probably need more track specific pads.

IMO SBS DC pads after initial bed in and warm up they are awesome even in the wet, also did a few races on EBC HH pads and they worked for me. Brembo m/c first upgrade if you go for mods.

Master cylinder and lines first :) that should stop your fade
