just discovered this thread.. pity I never joined the forum a year ago! Looks like you guys had a magic time.. any plans for a trip this far north again in 2014?
It was a great weekend albeit a lil damp by the end but that didn't stop the banter and comradery during fuel/photo stops and the evenings "hammer time!". There hasn't been anything fixed for this year as yet but 2014 has only just started so you never know.
well I'll keep my fingers crossed.. seems like there were lots of others that felt they missed out.. strange how it was so wet, as we had the best summer in probably 7-8 years in Aberdeen last year! West coast of Scotland weather I guess..
Nope, pretty much saturated everywhere we went!! Lol Was top drawer though mate, everyone had a brilliant time. As said the banter and even the riding was awesome. Despite the weather.

Although I don't think any of them are still active on here (I stand to be corrected). I joined them at Kirkby Lonsdale for a bit.
That must have been on the way back down from a soaking wet M6. I split at Penrith to cross the A66 towards Middlesborough and got pulled for a small numberplate on the way home near York having just done over 1,000 miles over the 4-5 day round trip.
I was just thinking the same thing today, it was brilliant, great meeting all our fellow members and it was the start of Teapot One's 2nd World tour, a truly epic few days
